Christian Nurture and Education
At the baptism of their children, Christian parents promise 'by prayer and example to bring their children up in the life and worship of the Church'.  In the Church we endeavour to help parents do this from their children's earliest years.

Creche
Babies and children under pre-school nursery age are looked after during the service on Sunday mornings.   We offer a safe friendly place, well supervised, available from 10.15 am.  The Crèche meets in Room 3 of the Centre.  Any parents with very young babies who prefer to keep them with them in Church may also use the Church Vestry or main vestibule area where the service can be heard by relay loud speaker.

Sunday Club
The children are encouraged to sit in the Church with their parents and join in the first 15 minutes of worship before going with their leaders to the Church Centre.  After the service, parents are asked to collect their children from the Church Centre.

Pit-Stop
On Sunday mornings we have a special group for young people in S1 to S3.  We join the rest of the congregation for the first part of the service and then go out to our own meeting in the Church Centre.  Our programme is specifically designed for the group.  Social events are also arranged.
Leaders:  include Dave Whitcombe,  and Pat & Doug Boyd.

Simpsons Mania & Simpsons Plus
The Simpsons Mania & Simpsons Plus groups are run jointly with our neighbouring parishes.  The emphasis is on fun.  Games, crafts and a Simpsons video are combined with more serious consideration of Christian issues.  Simpsons Mania is for the P7 – S2 age group and meets on the first Saturday of each month, 7.30 – 9.15 pm at Midstocket Parish Church Hall, Harcourt Road.  Simpsons Plus, for S3 upwards, meets on the last Saturday of each month, also 7.30 – 9.15 pm at Midstocket Church.

Young People's Music
A feature of our 10.30 Sunday service for a number of years has been the contribution of a group of young people playing musical instruments leading part of our praise.
