WORSHIP ON SUNDAYS ALL WELCOME Worship is held every Sunday at 10.30 am
In the months of September, October, November, March, April and May, there is a short additional service at 9.30 am, lasting half an hour. When for any reason the 9.30 am service is not being held, if there is only one service that day, notice is given in the Press and Journal, Aberdeen's daily newpaper, and on our website. The Order of Service for each Sunday is published each Friday. To access a week, click on the drop-down menu in the Worship section of the website. In 2012, the Alpha Course will be running in Rubislaw Church Centre (on the corner of Fountainhall Road & Beaconsfield Place) from January through to March 2012 on Tuesday evenings. The ‘Alpha Supper’ introductory evening will be on Tuesday 17th January. This gives the opportunity to find out what Alpha is about and decide whether it’s for you. The course itself will run for 10 weeks starting from 24th January.
A typical Alpha evening involves a light meal followed by a talk (usually from a DVD) and then discussion. It’s laid back, friendly, un-pressured (and free). Over 2.5 million people in the UK and 17 million people worldwide have attended an Alpha course, running in tens of thousands of churches of all denominations across the world. Alpha’s relaxed format and content lead to enjoyable and stimulating evenings which can really impact our individual journeys of faith.
